Congratulations and a huge well done to Primary 7 pupil, Eva. Eva has won this year’s prestigious Environmental Youth Speak Competition. She was selected from over 30 schools to reach this year’s final – an excellent achievement in itself! Eva performed her speech in Newcastle, Co. Down before being awarded 1st Place. The topic she spoke about was, ‘By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean. Let’s stop Marine plastic pollution before it’s too late.’ A very deserving winner indeed! Eva’s hard work and effort has been rewarded.
